**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Install, maintain, and repair hydronic heating and cooling systems (e.g. boilers, radiant floor heat, fan coils, etc.)
- Service boilers: perform inspections, start‐ups, burner tuning, combustion analysis, safety & control checks
- Install, maintain, or repair pumps, valves, pressure reducing valves, expansion tanks, sensors, and controllers
- Work on domestic water lines: routing, connections, fittings, leak repair, etc.
- Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints and specifications
- Perform system balancing, pressure / flow testing, and troubleshooting
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and communicate clearly with management and clients
- Clean and organize work area after job completion
- Respond to emergency service calls if required (overtime / on-call duties may apply)

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Journeyperson plumber; additional hydronic / HVAC certification is a strong advantage
- Several years (e.g. 3-5+) experience in hydronic heating & cooling system work, boiler service, and pump systems
- Proficiency in working with pumps, valves, pressure reducing valves, control systems, sensors, thermostats
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plumbing / mechanical schematics
- Solid troubleshooting skills; ability to diagnose system issues logically
- Familiarity with local plumbing / mechanical codes and safety regulations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Good physical fitness: ability to lift, climb, bend, work in tight or elevated mechanical rooms
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; reliability and professionalism
- Willingness to learn and to keep up to date with new technologies and techniques in hydronics
