DAY IN THE LIFE

As a Journeyman/Person Plumber at Tino Mechanical, your daily activities will include:

• Report directly to the Site Manager for projects and customer service needs.
• Implementing solutions that prioritize the best interests of our clients.
• Responding, diagnosing and resolving plumbing and gas-related issues as needed with precision.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in a proficient and correct manner as directed by the Site Manager
• Update and communicate to the Site Manager of any efficiencies or cost saving measures to maximize project success.
• Collaborate with team members to help resolve issues.
• Perform routine inspections and conduct quality control checks of plumbing and drainage systems as required.
• Ensuring installations comply with applicable codes and regulations, coordinating inspections as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with the company's Operational Health and Safety Manual.
• Location of Current secured work: Burnaby, Vancouver, UBC, New West, Richmond, Bowen Island.
• Scope 60% plumbing and the other 40% is heating, cooling, hydronic systems (including industrial work).

WHAT YOU BRING

To Excel in this role, you bring:

• Journeyman Plumber with Red Seal Certification.
• Understanding of BC codes related to mechanical systems
• Plumbing/Gas Ticket
• Understanding of their scope: plumbing, sheet metal, sprinkler and controls
• Class 5 Driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliability and a strong team-oriented work ethic.
• Solutions-driven problem-solving and outstanding communication skills.
• A positive and dynamic attitude promoting great team morale and a positive work environment.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with Procore, Blue Beam and Trimble is considered a massive bonus.
• Don't worry if you're not familiar; we are more than willing to provide training
