**Houseperson**

At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, an exceptional guest experience begins before check-in, and extends throughout every stay. As a Houseperson, the organizational support you provide to the Housekeeping team will ensure our guest rooms are well equipped and welcoming.

This is a full-time, permanent role, starting in **June 2025.**

**Starting Rate of Pay**: $20.00 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.25.

**Job Duties Include**:

- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
- Stock linen closet and supplies area
- Clean and disinfect public areas such as hallways, washrooms, changing rooms, showers and elevators
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Report and store lost and found items
- To respond to all Housekeeping and Royal Service calls, which includes guest deliveries and requests.
- To assist the Room Attendants in bringing them required supplies.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous guest service and/or Housekeeping experience is an asset.
- Must be physically fit and able to carry/move heavy loads - up to 50 pounds.
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
