**Position Summary**

**Hours of work**:
Monday to Thursday 6 am - 3:30 pm

Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm

**Key Responsibilities**

Read and interpret Shop drawings, technical drawings, and specifications.

Cut, notch, bend otherwise shape and form metal stock into components.

Operate a variety of light and heavy metalworking machines, including press brake, shear, forklift (an asset)

Clean, maintain, and lubricate machinery and tools.

Ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.

Complete projects within tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.

Support a safe and efficient work environment.

**Qualifications**

3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or HVAC shop environment an asset

Minimum Grade 12 education.

Proven ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.

Forklift and crane operation experience (asset).

Strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate a variety of fabrication equipment.

Flexible to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as required.

Physically fit, energetic, and capable of handling loads up to 23 kg (75 lbs.).

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

**Work Conditions**

Fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Extended periods of standing, walking, and manual work.

Handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks.

Working under pressure and tight deadlines.

**Weight Handling: a**bility to lift up to 50 lbs.
