Position Summary

We are seeking a Shear and Press Brake Operator to join our Manufacturing team. This role is essential to shaping and assembling metal components for our HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with metalworking machinery, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and precision.

Full-time, Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret specifications and blueprints
  • Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld, and shape metal stock into parts or products
  • Operate press brake, shear, notcher, plasma machine, and other metalworking equipment
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
  • Handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
    Maintain attention to detail and manual dexterity during extended periods of standing and physical activity

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • HVAC shop experience preferred
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Forklift and crane experience (asset)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Mechanically inclined and physically fit
  • Proven ability to meet project deadlines under pressure
    Flexible to work overtime
