**The Opportunity**:
The Driver Coordinator (Weekday, Nights) is the main point of contact between the backbone of the transportation industry (our AZ Drivers) and the organization. This role is responsible for effectively coordinating a group of drivers to success through continual communication from the shipment pick-up to delivery and ensuring the appropriate internal departments (i.e. Customer Service, Breakdown, Customs) are aware of any updates.

Hours of work**:Sunday to Thursday from 11:00pm to 7:00am**

**Challenger's Operations team believes in the right for employees to disconnect from work while at home. Driver Coordinators are not expected to answer calls or work inquires while on personal time and this practice reinforces our commitment to work-life balance.**

**A Day in the Life**:

- Responds to and resolving driver inquiries in a professional and respectful manner.
- Assists Customer Service Department with any customer inquiries regarding the shipment.
- Ensures the dispatch plan is executed effectively and collaborates with our Planners on redesign.
- Participates in driver retention initiatives including data collection, root cause analysis and mediation.
- Ensures integrity of data in our system including ETAs, driver availability, projected late shipments, etc.
- Performs other duties as required
