SPS Commerce continues to grow We’re hiring a Software Development manager who will manage a team of Individual Contributors across a spectrum of technical roles as well as customer facing roles. The Manager II, Development is responsible for a team of software engineering professionals, all working in concert to deliver high quality products delivered to stakeholder expectations. The team will partner with other scrum teams in the SPS Technology organization. While working with this team the Manager II, Development will be responsible for recommending short-term plans and trade-offs, deciding upon resource allocation, and project timelines to meet budget and schedule targets.

**What is the day-to-day like?**
- Collaborate on team initiatives, ensuring team remains on track and accountable for commitments
- Partner with Senior Manager of Platform Development to define career development goals for the team. Encourage team to grow and mentor team members and guide individual contributors in their career development using the career plan defined with Director
- Foster a strong team morale in a fast-paced, action-packed environment. Mentor within and outside of core team. Coordinate training and documentation materials across the department.
- Work in concert with other development managers to make strategic decisions within the Core-Data and Dev Center teams
- Provide Development and support representation for the Dev Center and Core Data related technologies
- Facilitate the adoption of new technology advancements

**What experience and skills do you need?**
- Bachelor’s degree AND 5 years of total experience or Associate’s degree AND 7 years of experience
- 2 years of lead / management experience
- Proven success developing talent and demonstrated experience working through others to complete work and resolve issues
- Experience with and ongoing development using Kubernetes, CI/CD Pipelines and AWS

**Nice to haves**
- 1-2 years of technical EDI experience
- 2-3 years of experience within the Supply Chain industry, software, or related solutions
- 2-3 years of experience with data platform or business intelligence experience
