**Mechanical Estimator**
- Job Duties_:

- Estimating mechanical systems for commercial projects, completing plumbing takeoffs
- Predicting costs of labour, supplies, and materials for upcoming jobs to bid on
- Recording and comparing bids from multiple vendors and subcontractors
- Finding ways to reduce costs of equipment and supplies
- Preparing detailed reports about expenses for the duration of the project
- Working with office staff on project organization and planning
- Visiting job sites when necessary and analyzing blueprints and plans, specifications
- Qualifications required:_
- High School Diploma
- Completion of college program in mechanical or construction project management
- Several years of experience in plumbing or sheet metal industry
- Previous experience using estimation software such as QuoteSoft would be an asset
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Dependable team player, with a positive attitude
- Communication and team work skills
- Strong ability to follow directions
- Punctual, reliable work attendance

Pay: From $64,000.00 per year
