**YOUR FUTURE TEAM**: Reporting to the Guest services Supervisor and Director of Room, you will work with the front desk team and closely with all department of the hotel.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Welcome and register guests
- Verify and detail the day’s arrivals, follow up with reservation confirmations, follow up with different reservations booking channels
- Recommend and make reservations for restaurants, shows and attractions
- Issue and sell gift certificates
- Keep track of arrivals, departures, in-house, daily activities and follow up accordingly
- All other related guest service responsibilities
- Maintain the reception area clean and maintain supplies needed

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Good computer knowledge (Knowledge of PMS Opera an asset)
- Hospitality or tourism and travel studies is an asset
- English oral and written - French is an asset
- Have a good knowledge of Halifax, its tourist attractions and its major intersections
