Dexter Construction Company is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently posting for an Asphalt Plant Technician based out of our Bedford, NS location.

**Position Summary**
- The Asphalt plant service technician operates portable asphalt plants. They are responsible for - controls, mixing, load out, etc.
- Assist with plant maintenance & plant moves.
- Completing daily reports.
- Track plant parts and inventory.
- Reports directly to the asphalt plant manager.

**Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Maintenance/Mechanical/Welding skills are an asset
- Fast Learner with good analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Willingness to Travel across Atlantic Canada and Quebec as required.
