**ABOUT THIS JOB**

The Social Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the internal & external communications with a focus on handling mainstream social media and/or advertising efforts, and supporting on company’s information output, press releases and media requests.

Major Responsibilities:

- Help grow, manage, and optimize social media presence on all platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Google Ads, Twitter, TikTok, Weibo, Wechat etc.
- Run WeChat campaigns including paid and advertorials.
- Measure and monitor traffic on social media platforms and help develop strategies to increase ad effectiveness
- Run paid and organic campaigns
- Ensure seamless brand messaging across all partners and efforts
- Ensure any comments on all platforms from prospective clients are addressed in a professional and timely manner
- Build the content strategy for our key social media channels with the intent to increase engagement
- Communicate with social media followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Keep aware of market trends, competition and industry news to offer innovative insight to existing programs
- Implement a communication strategy that includes inbound media & influencer outreach
- Create high-quality contents, including but not limited to Blogs, newsletters, presentations, video scripts etc. that in line with company’s marketing guide.
- Collaborate with internal marketing team members to brainstorm content ideas, and produce copywrites for promotions, website/App, and in support of other brand initiatives and advertisements.
- Foster relations and liaise with mainstream media, influencers, associations and partners, handle requests for interviews, industry events and community engagements.
- Assist in communications of strategies or messages from senior leadership.
- Support the overall marketing objectives of company both externally and internally.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior(s).

**Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Cantonese and Mandarin a must
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in communication. social/digital background with the knowledge in Canadian market.
- Proven social media experience and content writing capabilities.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken), and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).
- Works well under pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, problem solving and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of the Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Optimistic and realistic, full of passion, creative mindset, attention to detail

**Salary**: $2,000.00-$2,200.00 per month
