**Overview**:
The Social Media Specialist will focus on creating appealing and creative digital content for Universal Soul Service Corporation using various social media platforms. You will be a part of the Marketing Department team and will work closely with the Leadership team to generate a social media marketing strategy that will promote customer engagement and brand awareness. You will also monitor/contribute to all social media to identify customer trends, competitive trends, and world events that are pertinent to our company. You'll analyze, synthesize, and summarize your observations and report them for possible action to Marketing Leaders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engage on social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TIK TOK
- Create content for our social media platforms
- Post our newsletters, blog posts, and job openings on Social Media
- Monitor comments and engages readers on our blogs
- Expand **USSC’s **reach and impact
- Provide administrative support as needed
- With proven success & a positive attitude, take on special projects and new responsibilities

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years of social media marketing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to self-direct work and manage independent deadlines
- Demonstrated interest in the field of marketing, communications, and/or PR
- Strong familiarity w/ social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TIK TOK)
- Competence with Microsoft Office/Salesforce/Google Drive
- Creative and innovative thinking
- Work with relevant influencers or complementary brands to grow the company’s social following organically
- Work together with the marketing department and graphic designers to create compelling content for publication or campaigns
- Create a brand persona through the brand’s online channels
- Ability to deliver results
- Great customer service skills
