**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Utilize POS systems, such as Micros POS, for efficient cash handling and order processing.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to ensure adequate stock while minimizing waste.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
- Conduct regular inspections of food handling practices to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
- Experience with supervising teams, including training new employees in hospitality best practices.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Micros POS preferred).
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Previous experience in barista roles or hotel settings is a plus.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
