Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.

An integral part of the position is building long term relationships with customers along with providing our current sales team with technical assistance, negotiation, presentation and seminars training on existing and new products, as well as project tracking.

Among the main responsibilities, the Commercial Manager will also:
Identify opportunities and emerging markets
Develop and implement the commercial sales plan
Work closely with National Teams on leads and needs of local market
Work with marketing on development of the Lunch and Learn program
Work with Marketing on product development
Involvement in local associations
Active on LinkedIn and other social media platforms to network and increase presence of brand

**Required qualifications**:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in a discipline related to the construction industry
Minimum of 10 years of technical sales representation experience and/or product specification, ideally in the building products industry
Minimum of 5 years of experience in team management
Strong knowledge of CRM Salesforce
Knowledge and experience with the practices of the design and engineering community
Excellent sales, communication, customer service and presentation skills
Initiative and autonomy
Result oriented
French spoken and written is a strong asset
Must be able to travel monthly

Parmi ses principales responsabilités, le Directeur Commercial devra également:
Identifier les nouvelles opportunités ainsi que des marchés émergents
Élaborer et mettre en œuvre un plan de ventes commerciales
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes nationales pour identifier les opportunités et les besoins du marché local
Travailler avec l'équipe marketing sur le développement du programme Lunch and Learn et sur le développement de produit
S'impliquer dans les associations locales
Être actif sur LinkedIn et d'autres plateformes de médias sociaux pour réseauter et accroître la présence de la marque

**Qualifications requises**:
Baccalauréat ou équivalent, de préférence dans une discipline liée à l'industrie de la construction
Minimum de 10 ans d'expérience en représentation technico-commerciale et/ou spécification de produits, idéalement dans l'industrie des produits de construction
Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en gestion d'équipe
Solide connaissance du CRM Salesforce
Connaissance et expérience des pratiques de la communauté de conception et d'ingénierie
Excellentes compétences en vente, en communication, en service à la clientèle et en présentation
Initiative et autonomie
Axée sur les résultats
Le français parlé et écrit est un atout majeur
Doit être capable de voyager mensuellement
