We are looking for a Scheduling Clerk to add to our team.

**Job Summary**

Under the supervision of our Scheduling and Materials Management Coordinator the Scheduling Clerk will be responsible for the effective scheduling of our panel products. The scheduling clerk will ensure that production schedules are created and completed on time. The incumbent will coordinate the materials needed for open orders and ensure any necessary materials are ordered and updated in the system. The Scheduling clerk will follow up on any defective materials coming in from suppliers, as well as any internal quality issues. The Scheduling Clerk will provide additional backup to the Scheduling and Materials Management Coordinator as necessary.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform a range if clerical functions to directly assist the Scheduling and Materials Coordinator
- Enter customer orders into production schedule in excel
- Print and organize production order’s according to the production schedule
- Issue purchase orders to vendors and update ETAs in the system
- Expedite and follow-up on purchase orders to meet production dates
- Follow up with vendors and production floor regarding material issues
- Receive and relieve purchase orders into system
- Resolve backorders and shortages in a timely fashion
- Maintain Defective material report and RMA report
- Assist with monthly and yearly inventory
- Provide back up to customer service for HPL and cut to size orders as required
- Provide back up to Production Scheduler as required
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Scheduling, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 1-3 years' experience with production planning or scheduling capacity.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with MRP scheduling software an asset
- Experience with Epicor an asset
- Advanced ability to effectively problem-solve, communicate (orally and in writing), lead business discussions and train others.
- Team player within multi-disciplined team.
- Strong organizational skill set.
- Experience in cross functional team.
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, as well as inventory control of these items.
- Experience in managing third-party service providers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
