**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation.
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.
- Monitor food supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues to the kitchen manager.
- Participate in regular cleaning schedules to maintain a sanitary work environment.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is MANDATORY.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques within the food industry.
