Reporting directly to the Operation Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the customer service function and the logistics/procurement control function of the plant. **Job Description**: - The preparation & blending of paste formulations and packaging/shipping samples as needed - Assist with the ordering of supplies, consumables and other purchases for the R&D group - Assist with raw materials preparation and finished product tracking during new product scale up - Perform standard laboratory testing methods such as FT-IR, TGA, DSC and viscometry - Inventory management of products necessary for R&D; Maintain laboratory supplies and consumables - Data entry for all R&D related activities - Write basic procedures for the lab - Participate in the analysis and root cause of samples as deemed necessary to support commercial needs, field analysis and engineering support - Maintaining the industrial hygiene and cleanliness of equipment and workplaces; - Follow all verbal and written instructions issued for this position - Sorting and managing waste generated in the R&D department - Reports all anomalies including accidents to the supervisors **Qualifications**: - High School diploma - Experience with basic laboratory equipment is preferred but not mandatory. Proven experience with batch processes and instrumental analysis preferred. - Bilingual (French & English) - Responsible, independent, meticulous, organized. - SO 9001, ISO 16949, ISO 17025 knowledge is preferred but not required - Ability to write procedures within an IATF 16949 industry highly desired
