ERP Specialist

**Job purpose**

The ERP Specialist will assist ERP Manager in managing ERP-related projects, including handling timelines, resources, and deliverables.

The ERP Specialist will oversee the day-to-day activities of the ERP team, ensuring that system functionalities are properly utilized, issues are resolved in a timely manner, and that the ERP system continues to align with the company’s business objectives.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

- Proficiency in using ERP software, particularly Microsoft Business Central or JustFood.
- Provide direct support to the ERP Manager in managing ERP-related projects, including handling timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with the ERP Manager in the testing and deployment of new ERP modules, customizations, and integrations. Ensure that all system changes meet quality standards before going live.
- Maintain accurate documentation of ERP activities, including testing results, project progress, and system updates. Prepare and present regular reports to the ERP Manager.
- Offer guidance and support to ERP Assistants /Analysts as needed, ensuring they are equipped to perform their tasks effectively.
- Coordinate and oversee the training of ERP users across all departments, ensuring that they understand and can effectively use the ERP system. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions as required.
- Work with the ERP Manager to identify inefficiencies within the ERP system and propose improvements to enhance overall performance.
- Ensure that ERP processes comply with internal policies and external regulations, particularly in terms of data management and system access.
- Ability to provide support and guidance to junior team members, such as ERP Assistants/Analysts.
- Strong project management skills with experience in coordinating ERP-related tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to use Config Pack for bulk data updates.
- customize Labels (inventory & FG etc.) & Reports in JustFood as required.
- Set up & Handle EDI projects from start to finish, covering all the EDI documents (850, 860 810, 856, 940 & 945)
- Create customized ERP permission sets (in compliance with company Policy) for Directors and mangers including modification of Table& Table data & Page access.
- Resolve complicated problems of users and help the team with difficult issues.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances, be able to carry on all the duties of ERP Assistants/ Analysts
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow ood anufacturing ractices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years proven experience using Microsoft Business Central or JustFood, with a strong focus on implementation, testing, and training.
- Experienced Power BI Developer with experience in gathering data from various sources and transforming it into insightful reports and dashboards.
- Experience with EDI processes and documents.
- Experience writing procedural documents (how to’s and flowcharts).
- Effective communication, both verbal and writing.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in customer/end-user support an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
