Main Purpose of Job:
Maintaining the accounts of our various clients in order to ensure proper implementation of accounting practices.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare General Ledger and supporting accounts within **Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online and other common accounting software**
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of every bank account
- Calculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, statement of accounts, and other financial statements according to established company procedures
- Prepare remittances to for payroll source deductions, HST remittance, WSIB, EHT, and Corporate taxes.
- Prepare Tslip submissions and monitor T4 preparation and distribution.
- Prepare audit documentation if and when required.
- Administer and prepare payroll for clients in a timely manner.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Prepare, Monitor and maintain computerized Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Follow through on a timely and accurate month end closing and financial reporting activities.
- Prepare Corporate Year end (T2) tax returns

**Qualifications**:
Experience in **Simply Accounting, Profile, and QuickBooks is required**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Proficiency in French is an asset
- A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple clients under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy

**Optional**:
Knowledge or experience in tax preparation for personal and corporate tax accounts.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
