**OFFICE MANAGER / BOOKKEEPER / CONTROLLER**

A&E Group (Est. 1999) previously known as Fairbank Nunas Architects (Est. 1976) is a well-established architectural firm in Edmonton. A&E Group is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper/Controller to join our team.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field.
- 5 years experience in a similar position.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Accounting Bookkeeping skills.
- Advanced level Excel skills including advanced functions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Strong sense of self-motivation, and accountability with great attention to detail.

**Roles + Responsibilities**
- General office administration duties.
- Prepare invoices and complete the posting process for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, banking, payroll, and provincial/federal reporting requirements
- Manage and reconcile AP and AR.
- Post all transactions to the Sage Accounting Program.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Bookkeeping/Accounting experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize your workload
- Assist with any other projects as assigned.
- Document Management and Control.

Work Week: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

(37.5 hours per week)

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Edmonton, AB T5J 3R8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Office Administration and Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
