**RECEPTIONIST**

**FULL-TIME PERMANENT**

**HOURS**: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity available for a Receptionist to join our Office Team. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for welcoming visitors, answering phones, and various administrative supportive tasks.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
Greet, sign in and direct all dealers, vendors and guests to the appropriate people or department.

Answer and direct calls on a multi-line switchboard.

Sorting and preparing all incoming and outgoing mail.

Perform office duties such as photocopying, filing, scanning etc.

Process and/or maintain various production and non-production documents.

Maintain staff lists by department and organizational chart updates.

All other duties as assigned.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:
3-5 years’ experience in an office environment utilizing various office equipment.

Excellent communication and telephone skills

Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft, Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Willingness to learn Home Hardware systems and services.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work well under pressure.

Willingness to take on new tasks and assignments when required.

Ability to work independently and accept responsibility with limited supervision.

Good attendance record is a requirement.
