Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Analyst will be a member of the Accounts Payable Team and provide efficient and effective support within the Accounts Payable Department.

This position is based in the Winnipeg, MB office.

**Responsibilities**:
- Review and analyze invoices entered by the districts.- Review and edit employee expenses for proper approvals, coding, and tax calculations.- Enter and audit employee expense reports in Viewpoint Accounting Software & Concur.- Enter payroll related invoices and create EFT and Cheque payment batches.- Provide continuous training and support to the Accounts Payable teams in the Districts.- Assist the Districts/Management/IT with accounts payable inquiries.- Maintain the Company’s values by keeping information confidential.- Provide superior customer service

What We Are Looking For- High School Diploma required- Enrollment in or completion of post-secondary studies in a related field would be considered an asset- Relevant work experience of at least 3+ years in accounts payable- Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; able to meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail- Effective and efficient decision-making skills; thoughtful, proactive and creative- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads- Can work independently as well as part of a team to ensure weekly priorities are met- Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups within the business- Strong written and oral communication skills- Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them
