**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of mechanical construction projects.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Coordinate with internal teams including estimating, design, and field supervision.
- Lead project meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contract requirements.
- Oversee procurement of equipment and materials in coordination with purchasing.
- Manage project documentation, progress reporting, and financial tracking.
- Support project closeout including commissioning, warranty, and turnover documentation.
**Qualifications**
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum **5 years of project management experience** in mechanical contracting (HVAC, plumbing, or piping).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, PlanSwift Bluebeam, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and ability to travel to job sites as required.
- Working knowledge of Ontario Building Code, OHSA regulations, and construction safety standards.
