**About the Role - How you will Contribute to the Service**:

- Support, train and coach project owners on the project management methodologies (i.e. developing project charters) through development of training modules and their delivery for specific audiences
- Create and maintain statement of work, project charter, scope documents and project plans, and prepare weekly management status reports.
- Regularly review and update project management tools, templates, and processes to ensure compliance with the evolving policies and best practices mandated by the EPMO.
- Provide input and feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency of existing project management tools, templates, and processes, and propose improvements or modifications when necessary
- Review and assess existing policies and operational impacts in conjunctions with technological solutions.
- Consult with project owners to ensure projects meet timelines, budget and stakeholder requirements, as set by project charters and schedules. Ensure project elements are designed in accordance with project management principles.
- Prepare the planning documents and scheduling of work for projects. Monitor and report on progress and variances with regards to performance deliverables and outcomes. Provide support on project issues, risks and discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Support the project idea intakes process and prioritize projects through a strategic lens to ensure alignment with organizational business plan
- Consult with project owners to ensure projects meet timelines, budget and stakeholder requirements, as set by project charters and schedules. Ensure project elements are designed in accordance with project management principles.
- Prepare the planning documents and scheduling of work for projects. Monitor and report on progress and variances with regards to performance deliverables and outcomes. Provide support on project issues, risks and discrepancies and recommend solutions.
- Assist in the management of budgeting, scheduling and resource planning
- Prepare financial reports and update budget tracking documents by analyzing variances and reporting records
- Research and evaluate business processes and stakeholder needs. Conduct best practice studies and related financial analysis. Identify opportunities for policy and procedural improvements (i.e. evaluate business process through process mapping)
- Prepare and manage reports, documentation and presentation materials to maintain stakeholder relationships and promote open communication though facilitation tools. Ensure project documentation adheres to standards and is available to project members.

**What you will Bring to the Role**:

- Minimum university degree in business or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
- Change Management Experience is considered an asset
- PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) certification is considered an asset
- Experience in managing complex and evolving projects using various Project Management approaches
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and make sound judgments in high-pressure environments
- Experience in conducting stakeholder assessments and engagement activities to identify individual stakeholder needs and expectations, and incorporate them into project planning and execution
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including but not limited to Visio, Microsoft Excel and Project at an advanced level
- Proficient in utilizing project management tools such as Microsoft SharePoint for document management, collaboration, and version control
- Experience in leveraging Power BI or similar data visualization tools to analyze project data, track key performance indicators, and generate informative reports for stakeholders
- Knowledge of police operations is an asset
- Minimum five years of related specialized project management experience (diverse project portfolio such as IT, Infrastructure or Continuous Improvement etc.) and extensive use of related technical tools and software
