**Job Posting: Developmental Services Worker (Before & After School Program)**
**Location**: Gold Circle Daycare
**Position Type**: Full-time/Part-time (Monday to Friday)
**Start Date**: ASAP

**Position Overview**:
As a Developmental Services Worker at Gold Circle Daycare, you will work directly with children, supporting their developmental, social, and emotional needs. This role involves assisting children with special needs, ensuring a structured and inclusive environment, and fostering positive relationships with both the children and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support children in their daily routines and activities, including academic and recreational programs.
- Provide individualized support to children with special needs, including but not limited to assistance with personal care, social interactions, and learning activities.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive behavior and social skills development.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members to ensure the best possible care.
- Assist with general program duties, such as snack preparation, clean-up, and maintaining a safe play area.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on best practices for supporting children with developmental needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a **Developmental Services Worker** program.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in child care or special education settings, is an asset.
- Strong understanding of child development and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- A clear police background check and vulnerable sector screening are required.
- Able to work flexible hours (Before and After School Program).
