We at Green Haven Illam are looking for experienced Personal Support Workers (PSW) and Child and Youth Workers (CYW) in the areas of Toronto and Richmond Hill.

**Positions Available: Full Time (Day, **Evening, Overnight and Weekend** **Shifts)**
**Pandemic Pay is also included**

**What we are looking for**:

- Great problem solving skills
- Able to work well with others
- Interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrates a professional manner with respect to residents and families in the home and in public
- Able to work fixed or rotating shifts (Day, Afternoon, or Overnight)

*Proficient in English language and writing. Other language is an asset.

**Responsibilities**:

- Meal preparation: ensure breakfast, lunch and dinner is prepared
- Assist clients with meals if they require assistance
- Administer and record prescribed medication as per instructions from a medical practitioner and follow medication policies and procedures
- Bathe and dress clients if they require assistance
- Assist clients with activities of daily living
- Provide care to clients as outlined in their care plans
- Monitor and report any change in client’s well-being
- Assist clients at appointments
- Support clients at day programs
- Provide daily supervision
- Ensure environment around residents are kept clean and safe
- Assist with housekeeping duties
- Fulfil other related duties as assigned by the management team
- Comply with Policies

**Qualifications**:
Certificates**:PSW, CYW, CPR/First Aid, Pharmacology, Safe Management, or WHMIS (preferred)
- Valid G license
- Vulnerable Sector Check

**Experience**: 1 Year+ (preferred)
- College or University Education

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $44,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- standard first aid/cpr certificate (preferred)

- WHMIS certificate (preferred)
- vulnerable sector check (within last 6 months) (preferred)
- Class G Licence (preferred)
