Share your expertise and passion to highlight the values of our communities, all while growing within a team that supports and recognizes you Come and work with us - lots of exciting opportunities are available Explore different positions, helping you find the path that best aligns with your strengths and passions **Employment Conditions - Community Services Manager - Dorval** **Salary**: - Between **$84,351 and $109,655 annually** based on experience **Benefits**: - Group insurance plan & pension plan - Employee assistance program and online training platform - Accessible by public transport with available parking spaces - Cafeteria meals for $5, with free snacks and beverages - Stimulating, meaningful, and people-centered work in a unique environment - Opportunities for career advancement, development, and continuous training **Available Opportunities** - **Community Services Manager - Dorval** - Full-time permanent position - 35 hours per week **Main Responsibilities - Community Services Manager - Dorval** **Leadership and Management**: - Provide **strong leadership** to the community services teams, fostering a positive work environment. - Set **clear objectives**, expectations, and performance standards for staff. - Monitor and evaluate staff performance, offering guidance and feedback as needed. - Collaborate with other department heads and executives to meet organizational goals. **Community Services**: - Oversee operations, including **community work**, **spiritual services**, and **interpreter services**. - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations. - Develop and implement effective processes and systems. - Conduct annual evaluations for all supervised employees, offering valuable feedback and performance reviews. **Communication**: - Use radio or other means to communicate with Ullivik clients, informing them of services available. - Support Ullivik clients with their needs during their stay. **Customer Service**: - Maintain and manage the **non-eligibility list**. - Communicate with non-eligible clients and provide support as needed. - Organize community functions to identify client needs and gather feedback. - Collaborate with community members to prioritize initiatives and services according to the Inuulitsivik Health Centre's guidelines. **Requirements - Community Services Manager - Dorval** **Educational Requirements**: - College diploma in a relevant field. - A university degree in a relevant discipline is an asset. **Other Requirements**: - Proficiency in **Inuktitut (spoken and written)** is mandatory. - **English (spoken and written)** is an asset. - **French (spoken and written)** is an asset. - Familiarity with **Microsoft Office** and **Outlook software**. **Essential Skills and Abilities**: - Strong **motivational leadership** skills. - Ability to handle **multi-tasking** and manage stress. - Strong **interpersonal collaboration** and **communication** abilities. - Capacity to manage change, emergencies, and crises with effective **prioritization**. - Analytical and **problem-solving skills**. - Excellent **organizational** and priority management skills. - **Customer-focused** approach. - Credibility and the ability to provide **transformational leadership**. - Team spirit and ability to foster **inclusion**.
