**Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education is currently hiring a contract Administrative Assistant to join our team for the summer.**

**Who we are**:The Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education (NSCECE) is Atlantic Canada’s first provider of Early Childhood Education. Located in the heart of Halifax, Nova Scotia, with four childcare centres located in the Halifax Regional Municipality, our faculty, staff, and students share a passion for Early Childhood Education and are proud to provide positive change in the lives of the children, families, and the communities we serve

We are seeking a summer student to join our team as an Administrative Assistant from June 16th to August 31st 2025.

**About Our Opportunity**: The successful applicant will have the chance to develop their professional skills while working in a dynamic, team-oriented, and supportive office environment. As an Administrative Summer Student, you will assist our team with various daily tasks.

**Responsibilities may include** helping with the student database, collaborating with management team members on tasks such as presentation preparation, working with our marketing staff for social media posts, providing in-person and phone reception, filing, and handling other administrative duties as needed. This role requires not only strong administrative skills but also excellent organizational abilities, the capacity to multi-task, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset. Experience with Microsoft Office is considered a strong asset.
