Bothwell-Accurate is currently looking for a Payroll & Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance Team on a 15-month contract. You’ll play a key role in supporting payroll operations and the accounts payable (AP) function, collaborating with a team that values accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement. **What You’ll Do - Payroll**
- Process full-cycle weekly payroll using the Jonas system
- Complete weekly payroll transfers (direct deposits) and updates
- Update payroll master files for new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes
- Prepare and remit source deductions to the Receiver General
- Reconcile and submit remittances for WCB, EHT, garnishments, and family support
- Generate Records of Employment (ROEs) and Certificates of Employment as needed
- Verify payroll hours entered and approved by Production
- Respond to CRA payroll inquiries and year-end audit requests
- Prepare, reconcile, and complete annual T4 slips and summaries
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and best practices

**What You’ll Do - Accounts Payable**
- Process accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure accurate and efficient data input adhering to established processes.
- Follow up on overdue invoices and approval requests.
- Prepare regular cheque runs for assigned vendors.
- Process credit card payments, match receipts to statements, and allocate expenses.
- Responsible for processing subcontract invoices and holdback releases.
- Handle and resolve internal inquiries related to accounts payable, vendors and invoices.
- Correspond with vendors to promptly resolve problems and discrepancies.
- Provide support with other administrative functions as required.

**What You Bring to the Team**
- Diploma or certification in Payroll, Accounting, or a related field
- 1-2 years of payroll experience is required, and related experience within accounts payable or general accounting knowledge is preferred
- Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Jonas or other accounting software is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Detail-oriented, plus strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and ability to manage priorities independently
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow with the company
