**The Opportunity**

We’re hiring a **Business Technical Analyst (BTA)** to join our Delivery team. Reporting to the Director of Delivery, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, defining functional specifications, managing project coordination, and ensuring the successful design and validation of software features. You’ll serve as a key liaison between internal teams, customers, and third-party partners, helping translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Requirements & Functional Design**
- Gather and interpret business requirements from internal and external stakeholders
- Create and present functional design specifications and sample data sets
- Develop Statements of Work and assist in managing change requests
- Manage Jira work tickets and contribute to user documentation

**Project Coordination**
- Maintain project dashboards and manage project tasks
- Track milestones and communicate status updates to leadership
- Raise and recommend resolutions for issues related to scope, design, or schedule

**Cross-Department Collaboration**
- Act as the customer proxy during development
- Manage the release process in coordination with the Release Manager
- Work closely with Technical Writers and other teams on deliverables

**Pre-Sales Support**
- Support sales efforts by contributing to demos and RFP responses
- Help transition projects from pre-sales to post-sales execution

**What You Bring**

**Education & Experience**
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related diploma
- 6+ years in a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Technical Analyst role
- Experience in software delivery for medium to large/global organizations

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently
- Knowledge of Linux, system/data architecture, and web services
- Familiarity with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Draw.io), Jira, Azure DevOps
- Retail/telecom industry experience considered an asset
- BABOK certification considered an asset

**Additional Details**
- Hybrid work model (in-office approx. 50% of the time)
- Must be able to occasionally work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends
- Participation in IT on-call rotation may be required
