In Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, our Anode Materials division manufactures our synthetic graphite anode materials used to make lithium-ion batteries which power electric vehicles, personal electronics, medical devices, energy storage units, and more.

**Role Summary**:
This person will report directly to the Senior Business System Analyst and will work directly with internal customers and stakeholders to translate business needs into systems solutions. In the role of Business System Analyst, you will be joining a world-class IT team that is delivering innovative solutions to tough problems.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Administrative support for NOVONIX business systems, including Ceridian Dayforce (HRIS) and Oracle Fusion (ERP).
- Acting as the liaison between business units and IT groups.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
- Taking part in implementations or improvement opportunities (being both proactive and reactive).
- Consulting with business partners on how to efficiently utilize technology.
- Participating in the evaluation, analysis, and planning of business needs and risks.
- Articulating and clearly documenting business and system requirements.
- System testing, including organizing user testing sessions; creating detailed test plans and test cases; conducting testing; and ensuring documentation is updated.
- Leading or taking part in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths.

**You are**:

- A college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
- A professional with 3+ years of relevant experience in a business or IT role, with 1+ years of experience as a business system analyst.
- Able to maintain a positive relationship at all levels of the organization.
- Solution-oriented, intellectually curious, and passionate about creating a great culture.
- Resourceful when it comes to solving problems.
- An effective communicator.
- Passionate about continuous improvement.
- Able to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- A highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and reacting quickly.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing environments.
- Experienced with collaboration platforms, such as Microsoft 365.
- Able to travel up to 25%.

**It is extra awesome if you also have**
- Manufacturing and Supply Chain experience.
- Experience supporting or using Oracle Fusion.
- Experience supporting or using Ceridian Dayforce.
- Experience with SQL and query tools.
- Experience with Data Governance or Data Management.
- Project Management experience or certification.
- Geographic proximity to Chattanooga, TN, or Halifax, NS.

**Salary**: $68,000.00-$89,000.00 per year
