**Sussex (Ward's Creek) N.B. - Residential **Program Manager**

**The Organization**

Youth Impact Jeunesse is a large accredited and charitable organization that has distinguished itself as a leader in the delivery of residential and community outreach services for at-risk youth. With more than 260 dedicated staff, the agency strives to make a positive difference in the lives of youth and their families by providing support and teaching them helpful skills needed to succeed. Currently Youth Impact Jeunesse operates twelve residential facilities in six different communities across New Brunswick. It also offers eight community outreach programs within the Greater Moncton area.

This position reports to the Associate Director of Residential Services.

**Job Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to**:

- Ability to complete and role model all tasks and responsibilities of the staff team, and act as the third staff on shift while completing management responsibilities.
- Promote and maintain a safe, non-judgmental, welcoming environment for staff and youth while complying with the agency policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, youth, families, and other professionals associated with the program.
- Ensure the completion of all tasks associated with the day-to-day operations of the program.
- Ensure the safety, well being and basic needs of staff and youth are met and communicated.
- Ensure adherence to Provincial Standards, Canadian Centre for Accreditation Standards, and Operational/Personnel Policies, and to report any breaches of these policies to their supervisor.
- Attend to community concerns and complaints effectively and timely.
- Ensure that individual and group programs are being implemented on an ongoing basis.
- Properly manage team dynamics and address staff issues.
- Ensure proper implementation of intake, care planning and discharge activities.
- Complete and maintain documentation practices of the program.
- Provide quality orientation practices of the agency for new staff.
- Provide regular supervisions, coaching and evaluations to all staff of the program on a regular basis.

- Past work experience in the field of youth care work is required
- Management experience is considered an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset

**Educational Requirements**:

- College diploma or minimum of two years University successfully completed in a Human Services related field.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $53,000.00 per year
