**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our team.

The Medical Office Assistant works in collaboration with all other staff members.

The specific focus of this position is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the physical Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT) facility, specifically with regards to the administrative running of the office to ensure optimal, safe and quality patient care.

The Medical Office Assistant assists the Clinical Staff and Management in the overall day-to-day operation of the home sleep apnea testing facility particularly with regards to administrative duties.

**Primary Duties**:

- ensuring appropriate patient appointments and staffing based on number of clinical appointments.
- properly cleaning/ disinfecting home sleep apnea testing (HSAT) devices in accordance with accreditation guidelines and company policy.
- keeping accurate patient records and ensure as many patients as possible proceed to their next appointments.
- completing accurate invoicing and payment processing including being able to help patients process Insurance claims and then follow-up on insurance claims/payments until full payment has been received.
- organizing and maintaining accurate tracking and management of all Inventory utilizing software provided. Keep a close eye on stocks / inventory levels and notify management when orders need to be placed.
- keeps office space tidy and stays on top or ordering office supplies etc.

**Skills**:

- Able to work closely with a team
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities

**Work expectations**:

- You will be expected to work in a reliable, collaborative and cohesive manner with any and all CPAP PROS staff in order to help ensure the success of the company.
- You agree to follow all current company policy and make suggestions for improvements where you see fit.
- Your goal will also be to help CPAP PROS build meaningful relationships and good connections with Clinics and Doctors in and around the Greater Vancouver area who send us patient referrals through the handling of calls directly from Medical Clinic Managers, MOA’s or Doctors (help build good rapport with them).

**Hours/Schedule**:
Monday to Friday 9:00-5:00pm.

**Location**:
The office is located in New Westminster B.C. inside the Westminster Center. 250-555 Sixth Street, New Westminster.

**Salary**:

- $18.50 - $21**(Will depend on your work experience)
- Biweekly Basis
- All applicable deductions regulated by the provincial and federal government will be deducted and provided to you on a pay remittance statement as per provincial legislation

**Benefits**:
Extended health insurance package will be offered after completion of a 3 month probationary period.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year working as an MOA or in related position.

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
