**Overview**

**Big Hearts**is looking for **Home Share Provider**s to welcome individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) into their homes and provide personalized, high-quality care in a supportive, inclusive environment.

We are seeking caring and dedicated contractors to join our team as **Home Share Providers**. **Home Share Providers open their homes** to adults with developmental disabilities, offering ongoing, personalized support in a warm, safe environment. This role offers an ideal balance of independence and assistance, empowering individuals to live more independently while ensuring their specific needs are met. For some, it’s a step toward greater independence, and for others, it’s a lifelong living arrangement.

The Home Share contractors **MUST have a clean, safe house**, apartment, or townhouse available for the individual.

**Responsibilities**

**Holistic Support**
- Personal Care with Medication management
- Home making support
- Recreational support and foster independence
- Provide good relationship with the individual

**Experience**: Caregiving experience is preferred but not required, empathic, knowledge of budgeting, and the ability to communicate with the whole team

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Must have a house, townhouse, apartment and space for individual.
- First Aid and CPR certification (required).
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- NVCI
- Vaccinations (TB) and other medical requirements
- WHMIS Certification
- Food Safe Certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $2,100.00-$3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
