The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a **Manager, Security Technology** for our Information Technology Team within our **Home Office** located at **147 Commerce Drive** in **Winnipeg, MB**.**

As a Manager, Security Technology, you will be responsible for providing oversite of and continuously improving the security program, including governance, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing people, process, and security technology assets for the organization. You will provide mentorship and leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout business operations, and leads and manages critical incidents and risks while guiding our security technology team and stakeholders with a focus on E3 (Excellence Everywhere EveryDay).

As a Manager, Security Technology, you will:

- Develop, coach and mentor staff to equip the team with technical, operational, and customer service skills required to drive outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and leadership support to the technical lead for the team during business hours and after hours for security incidents to ensure the organization gets back up and running quickly while safeguarding organizational assets.
- Create and implement innovative security delivery strategies which provide optimum value based on business requirements and industry frameworks.
- Identify gaps, suggest improvements, and promote automation opportunities within security technology.
- Audit and provide continuous improvement recommendations to technical leads, coaching and mentoring teams that perform daily, weekly, and monthly security audits of various systems.
- Collaborate with business and technology partners to inform of trends, remove roadblocks, and contribute to prioritizing, planning for, and implementing improvements that optimize our customer's security experience.
- Provide transparency by consistently reporting key results, operating and initiative expenses, risks, and trends.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices within the organization.
- 5+ years of proven leadership with a continuous educational commitment to developing leadership practices.
- 8+ years of knowledge and experience in the field of security.
- 8+ years of designing, integrating, and implementing end-to-end infrastructure, network, and security solutions.
- Broad understanding of industry knowledge specializing in security technologies, including but not limited to DDoS, IPS/IDS, Firewalls, WAF, VPN, LAN/WAN/SDWAN.
- 7 + years of information technology experience with desktop and network technologies.
- Certifications in: CISM, CISSP, CASP+, CCSP, or other industry-recognized certificates are considered an asset.
- Degree in computer science and/or applied experience with certifications.
- Certification of ITIL framework.
- Demonstrated ability to foster relationships, build trust, and have a proven record of working independently and delivering on commitments.
- Excellent communicator, including demonstrated presentation and coaching skills and the ability to break down complex concepts of technical and non-technical audiences.
- A criminal record check will be required.
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule may include irregular hours.
- Willing and able to be on-call 24/7, as required.
