We are currently recruiting for full time **Packaging Associate **at our* Ancaster, Ontario* facility.
- **Work Schedule: Monday to Friday / 7:00 am - 3:00 pm**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure safe work conditions and practices as outlined in the company Safety, Health & Enviornmental policies.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Good Production Practices (GPP).
- Weigh and package products according to SOPs, ensuring accurate weights and record keeping.
- Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
- Maintain an on-hand inventory of packaging supplies and ensure it is sufficient to meet the demand.
- Clean and sanitize packaging rooms and equipment in compliance with SOPs.
- Participate in Inventory Counts, as needed.
- Understand and operate label software and printers.
- Perform all duties according to SOP, GMP and all other established safety standards and company policy.

Qualifications: *
- Knowledge with GPP and GMP is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing packaging environment.
- Interpersonal skills are required for daily interactions with shop floor personnel.
- Manual functions require good hand / eye co-ordination.
- Position requires standing, lifting and walking throughout the day.

- This is a greenhouse working environment, which may have continuous exposure to heat, light and humidity.

- May be required to work on weekends and during holidays, from time to time.
