Newmarket Student Painting is looking for a hardworking, dedicated individual to take on a role as a full-time production assistant from May to August. Production assistants are responsible for a large amount of the business' day-to-day operations and managing production staff.

**Do You Have What It Takes? Here’s What the Role Entails**:
Production Oversight:

- Manage multiple crews of painters, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the painting process, from surface preparation to final finishes

Supply Chain Management:

- Order and stock painting supplies, ensuring crews have the necessary tools for seamless project execution
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with supplies to maintain adequate stock

Client Communication:

- Communicate scheduling and progress updates with clients, providing a transparent and positive experience
- Address client concerns and inquiries promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction

Project Coordination
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Collaborate with the painting team to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency

**Required Qualifications**:

- Full-time access to a vehicle during the summer season
- Valid driver's license
- Student, or recent grad capable of taking on 40+ hour workweeks throughout the summer season
- Coachable and willing to learn
- High school diploma

**Compensation**:

- A production manager will split their time between painting onsite and managing other crews
- Time spent painting will be compensated at an hourly rate of $18/hr, while time spent managing crews is paid out on commission based upon the total number of crews being managed.

While no formal post-secondary education or work experience is required, experience managing others is considered an asset.
