**Company Description**:
Ronald Trac Law Professional Corporation (“Ronald Trac Law”) is a growing real estate and business law firm, located in North York near DVP and Lawrence. We are seeking a full-time real estate law clerk for commercial and residential real estate matters to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to work independently on all matters involving the preparation of standard and legal documents pertaining to real estate transactions (purchases, sales, refinances, private mortgages, title transfers, etc.);
- Performance of administrative work related to files, including: opening of files, preparation of accounts and client billings, closing files, and maintaining an active filing system on Clio;
- Conducting title and off-title searches and assessing and resolving related issues;
- Preparing files and transaction documents on Unity and Teraview;
- Correspondence with clients, financial institutions, title insurers, land registry offices, municipalities, mortgage brokers, condominium management offices, and various other related parties; and
- Meeting with and interacting with clients and referral sources, placing a high value on relationship-building and exceeding expectations.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

**Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**:

- Strong computer skills including thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader/Acrobat, and other common computer software;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Relevant experience as a real estate law clerk or similar role with a private law firm or a title insurer is an asset;
- Proficiency with standard office software and equipment such as Clio, Teraview, and Unity, LLC Portal, Telus Assyst, etc. is an asset. Experience with similar software such as PC Law, LawyerDoneDeal, and Conveyancer is also acceptable;
- Fluency in English is required;
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required. Proficiency in Cantonese Chinese would be a strong additional asset;
- Certification from a recognized Law Clerk program is an asset; and
- Experience with corporate/commercial law and business law (e.g. incorporations, business transactions, drafting business documents, etc.) is an asset.

**Salary**:

- $30,000 to $50,000 per year, based on experience.

**Benefits**:

- Working remotely during COVID-19, with an expectation to return to office dependent on the LSO guidelines regarding remote commissioning and videoconference signing and the pandemic generally;
- Health spending account (HSA) for medical expenses; and
- Bonus pay (depending on firm and individual performance).

**COVID-19 Safety Considerations**:
Our firm has been operating fully remotely throughout the entire COVID-19 pandemic, beginning in March 2020. Our expectation is to continue operating fully remotely as long as we are allowed to meet and sign with clients remotely under the LSO guidelines. There is an expectation to return to physical office after the pandemic is over, or when the LSO guidelines require it. As such, for the protection of our other team members and our clients, we require that all members of our organization be fully vaccinated in accordance with our government guidelines.
