**Your area of focus.**
**What drives your day-to-day?**
- Financial planning, budgeting and expense control
- Assist with annual forecasting and budgeting
- Oversee or perform tasks to ensure that financial functions are reconciled monthly including (but not limited to): cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payables, manufacturer statements, payroll administration, vehicle deal commissioning, intercompany accounts
- Meet all monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines as required by Head Office and the Dealer Principal/GM’s including monthly reconciliations, monthly and quarterly reporting, covenant calculations, ConSept reporting, financial analysis, year-end reporting, etc.
- Coach, mentor, lead and train accounting staff at the dealership
- Liaise with head office staff and all senior members of management
- Complete analysis or requests made by the Controller
**What are the must-haves**
- 2-year accounting diploma is an asset
- Automotive dealership experience is an asset
- Knowledge of CaseWare and/or Tableau is an asset
- Completion of post-secondary education in accounting or a related field preferred
- Dealership, ADP, and/or CDK experience is an asset
- Full cycle accounting & reconciliation GL knowledge preferred
- A valid driver's license & safe driving history is required
