**Job Description**:
As Manager, Basketball Operations - Raptors 905, you will collaborate closely with the Head Coach and GM to support the team's operational success. You will be responsible for various managerial tasks, including administrative work, facility and equipment preparation, uniform and personnel equipment management, practice timekeeping, and assisting with team events. We value effective organizational skills, time management, and a positive, professional attitude. You will maintain a collaborative working relationship with the coaching staff, team members, support staff, and all individuals associated with the Raptors 905.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage team communication and coordination through Teamworks platform.
- Handle onboarding, player immigration, clerical office work, and record-keeping such as data entry and paperwork filing.
- Attend all team practices and home games.
- Be available before, during, and after practices and competitions as assigned.
- Travel with the team to provide support, guidance, and mentorship.
- Handle media and public relations requests for away games on behalf of all staff and players.
- Oversee all team travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
- Operation responsibilities include managing player housing logistics, handling player/staff ticket requests, managing the day-to-day schedule & invoicing/ per diem processes.
- Serve as a team liaison for facilities including the city of Mississauga and as the point of contact for visiting teams.
- Performs other related duties as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent related experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in basketball operations, player personnel, or team travel is required. This can include collegiate, semi-professional, or professional basketball organizations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with coaches, players, and staff, and effectively communicate with other departments within MLSE and the NBA.
- Knowledge of league policies is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, such as coordinating team travel, and scheduling player itineraries.
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required and travel up to 60% of the year for away games and other work-related road trips.
