**_Purpose of the position_**

The position will (but not limited to):

- Maintain facilities to ensure they are in a constant state of readiness for County users.
- Operate and maintain of all mechanical equipment in facilities.
- Help with custodial work, setting up and tearing down events, minor building repairs, and general grounds cleaning.

To be successful in this position, you will:

- Grade 12 diploma
- 1 to 2 years of related work experience
- Maintenance course Level I
- Arena Operator I and Pool Operator I is considered an asset
- Class 5 Driver's license
- First Aid/CPR
- Be able to work in a team environment, and be reliable to work alone,
- Be well-developed in problem solving and public relations skills.
- Hold strong customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift, move, push, pull items 50 lbs +
- Ability to operate equipment and perform manual labour

**Position details**
- Salary: $58,864.00 to $82,160.00 annually ($28.30 to $39.50 hourly
- Permanent full-time position
- 2080 hours annually (40 hour week) including shift work on days, evenings, and weekends
- Work Environment: All County facilities
