**Service Advisor Tarrabain Motors**

**Responsibilities**
- **We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our team and act as a liaison between our customers and our Service Technicians.**
- **Service Advisor responsibilities include greeting customers, listening to their needs and scheduling appointments as needed.**
- **Provide Service Technicians with the information required to provide excellent service.** **Consulting with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs.**

**Use knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide information about available parts and service options to customers.**
- **Answering questions about service outcomes and schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop-off, and vehicle pick-up.**
- **Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections, potential cost savings.**
- **Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.**
- **Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies and labour.**:

- **Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, as well as repairs and services required; obtaining approval signatures; entering RO into service database system.**:

- **Ensure processes & standards to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations are followed.**:

- **Review open and completed jobs for quality control purposes.**

**Requirements and skills**
- **Proven work experience as a Service Advisor or similar role**:

- **A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry**:

- **Proficiency with industry-specific software**:

- **Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication expertise**:

- **Strong organizational, decision-making, problem-solving and multitasking abilities.**:

- **Strong decision making and excellent interpersonal, and communication skills**:

- **Proficient computer skills.**:

- **Detail oriented**:

- **Class 5 driver’s license (required)**:

- **The ability to communicate with mechanics, customers, and management.**:

- **Maintain automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned.**
- Previous dealership, parts or automotive experience are assets

**Salary**: $42,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability

All health and safety protocol followed. Sanitization of all high touch surfaces and facility on a regular basis

Education: Secondary School (preferred)

Experience: customer service: 1 year (required, Dealership: 1 year (preferred)

- English (preferred)
