Manager, Logistics

**How you can contribute**:

- Oversee communication and serve as a liaison between the warehouse, buying team, vendors, and distribution center
- Manage and optimize customer order entry and processing systems
- Maintain and update the shipping calendar, ensuring accurate and timely records
- Monitor inbound, outbound, and return shipments daily, addressing any discrepancies
- Track, prioritize, and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and efficient receiving processes
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to enforce delivery windows and optimize performance
- Verify, process, and approve order confirmations (receiving and shipping)
- Lead efforts to resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and receptions, collaborating with buyers and other relevant departments
- Oversee and manage all logístical operations for incoming and outgoing shipments, including coordination with freight forwarders and managing duties
- Develop and implement strategies for identifying the most cost-effective shipping methods and carriers based on transport costs and delivery times
- Ensure all shipment paperwork complies with company procedures and relevant regulations
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate finished goods inventory levels to internal teams, ensuring supply meets demand
- Supervise and manage data entry for import and export documentation as required
- Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers and vendors to resolve logístical issues efficiently
- Liaise with brokerage and vendor departments to ensure smooth operations
- Drive the continuous improvement of logistics processes within the company, proposing and implementing new procedures as necessary
- Ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ethical practices, and adherence to Health Canada requirements and regulations
- Regularly review and update SOPs related to logistics to ensure they reflect current best practices and regulatory requirements
- Handle special assignments and projects as needed to support the company’s overall logistics operations

**You’re really good at**:

- Strong leadership, autonomy, and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

**Things we hope you have**:

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics management
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, food, or related industries is a strong asset
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, logistics, or a related field
- Proven experience managing teams and driving process improvements within logistics operations
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, transportation, and inventory management processes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in French to work in Quebec.
- Good English skills to interact with sister and parent companies (British Colombia and USA)
