**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Utilize transportation management systems to monitor shipments and track performance metrics.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, forecast needs, and make informed decisions regarding inventory management.
- Oversee warehouse distribution operations, ensuring optimal layout and inventory control.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate pricing and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and streamline logistics operations.
- Utilize AS400 and CMMS systems for effective inventory management and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the logistics process.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in logistics management or a related field is required.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management systems is essential.
- Familiarity with 3PL operations and warehouse distribution practices is preferred.
- Excellent data analysis skills to interpret complex information effectively.
- Experience in procurement processes, including buying strategies and supplier negotiations.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives successfully.
- Proficiency in using AS400 or CMMS software is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
