**Major Responsibilities**
- Supervise and direct Counter, Administrative, and Warehouse staff to ensure timely, efficient customer service that supports business growth.
- Foster teamwork across departments to achieve branch goals, including coordinating Inside Sales support when needed.
- Review daily workloads and assign tasks to optimize productivity.
- Address performance issues promptly to maintain accountability and standards.
- Oversee all branch administrative and operational duties, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Manage scorecard-related tasks, including processing customer and vendor returns, defectives, yearly returns, and freight claims.
- Track and resolve customer shipping errors and ensure proper filing of all paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with the Gescan Occupational Health & Safety Program, including monthly meetings and up-to-date certifications.
- Maintain current OH&S board postings and ensure staff certifications (e.g., first aid, forklift) are valid.
- Train staff on branch processes, policies, and customer service/product knowledge standards.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, bin locations, accuracy, and loss prevention.
- Ensure the branch is clean, organized, and well-merchandised, including displays.
- Maintain warehouse and office equipment, addressing damages and repairs promptly.
- Identify and implement solutions to improve service, efficiency, and productivity.
- Resolve day-to-day personnel issues and escalate to management when necessary.
- Other tasks as needed.
