Calgary, Canada KLS Earthworks Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the project scope, execution plans and project specifications, including all plan changes
- Assist Project Manager with the development, maintenance and communication of project schedule
- Under direction of the Project Manager, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Oversee project procurement management
- Work with Project Supervisors to determine resource requirements for projects
- Issue and maintain subcontracts and purchase orders including review of all vendor invoices for accuracy
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with subcontractors and clients
- Manage Request for Information (RFI), shop drawing and change order process, incl. pricing, negotiating, processing and assessing cost and schedule impact
- Monitor project progress and relay information regarding cost forecast and schedule to Project Manager
- Compile and track quantities and costs throughout the project
- Reconcile time and materials work and request change orders as required.
- Assist in creating progress invoices for clients and resolving quantity discrepancies that may arise
- Involved in all facets of project closeout, including archiving documents, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies and warranty work

**Skills**:

- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
- Civil Engineer Technologist Diploma or related (2+ year) - considered an asset
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Heavy Bid Estimating Software is a plus
- 3+ Years of Project Administration / Coordination Experience
- Ability to interpret contracts, construction drawings and reports
- Solid Organizational and Teamwork Skills
