**Accounts Payable Clerk - PART TIME - Fort Langley**

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk to work part time (3 days per week) out of our Fort Langley Office. This exciting opportunity would work well for someone who is looking to work up to 24 hours a week in an accounting role out of our modern, new office in the heart of Fort Langley.
We are a young, vibrant and growing group of landscape architects, civil engineers, and certified arborists. We have a solid reputation in the industry operating in the Lower Mainland of BC since 1999. Our firm has clients across Western Canada including a wide range of consulting services.
**Skills and Required Qualifications**
- At least 2 years experience with Ajera and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for numbers and accuracy
- Must have previous experience in bookkeeping
- Must have experience in a professional office environment.
- Education in administration or accounting is an asset.
- Previous experience in our industry is an asset
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Code/project cost, and enter invoices into Ajera
- Prepare and send out vendor payments
- Maintain AP inbox, review, sort, and file invoices
- Follow-up with Project Managers and vendors on invoice discrepancies
- Reconcile vendor accounts and respond to inquiries
- Vendor additions and maintenance in Ajera
- Review and enter employee expense reports
- Review invoices and payment requests for proper approvals and backup
- Match credit card receipts to credit card statements
- Other duties as required (pickup mail, answering phones, ordering office supplies for Fort Langley and Vancouver offices)
**Job Type**: Part-time
