We have an opening for a CNC Lathe Machinist based out of our SE Technical Centre. Shift options for this position are**:morning shift - Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 03:00 PM**_**OR**_ **afternoon shift - Monday - Thursday 2:30 PM - 01:00 AM.**

Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, the CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for basic programming, set up and operation of CNC Mazak Lathes.

**Responsibilities also include**:

- Generate CNC programs for Mazak Lathes using Mazak Mazatrol Control.
- Set-up and operate CNC Mazak Lathe.
- Verify and record dimensions of parts and adjust machine accordingly to obtain desired quality of end product.
- Perform maintenance requirements on machines and maintain working area and equipment.
- Assist with training new employees.
- Perform other machining and QC related tasks as required.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chestermere, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- CNC Lathe : 5 years (required)
