CNC Lathe Machinist

**CNC Lathe Machinist (FAGOR)**

We have an opening for a CNC Lathe Machinist based out of our SE Technical Centre for afternoon shift - **Monday - Thursday 2:30PM - 01:00AM**. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, the CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for basic programming, set up and operation FAGOR TNC770/1060 Lathes.

**Responsibilities also include**:

- Generate CNC programs for TNC770/1060 using FAGOR Control
- Set-up and operate Fagor TNC770/1060
- Verify and record dimensions of parts and adjust machine accordingly to obtain desired quality of end product
- Perform maintenance requirements on machines and maintain working area and equipment
- Assist with training new employees
- Other machining and QC related tasks as required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chestermere, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- CNC Lathe : 5 years (required)
