This technology advising position ("Creative Technologies Assistant'') will work with communication students primarily in a training capacity, assisting clients both inside and outside of the lab as they use the Adobe Creative Cloud tools, production equipment, and online content management systems. Outside of the training / lab space, this role will also put communications technologies into practice, assisting with projects (promotional websites, branding, and events) to increase the profile of the School. — As the Creative Technologies Assistant, reporting primarily to the Creative Technologies Lead Hand, you will work as a member of the Creative Technologies Team to support production technology at ProCom in a number of contexts unique to the School. These include 1) training interventions (classes, lab assistance, office hours booked by senior students, self-led training platforms), 2) external-facing communications (website, recruitment media, social media), and facility / technology operations (existing websites, day-to-day lab maintenance). You'll draw on your industry / client experience to continuously improve existing services at ProCom. Whether it be facilitating a hands-on Wordpress workshop, recording Photoshop tutorials, or creating content for a new event website, a fundamental respect for user-centred communication will guide your frontline support duties at the School. **Job Types**: Part-time, Contract **Salary**: From $32.75 per hour Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Shift availability: - Day Shift (required)
